Logging In

How do I log into Wild Things?

Once you have registered an account, you can login by clicking the User Icon in the top right of the screen (on your computer), or the Enter Icon in the top right menu (on your phone).

How do I reset my password?

If you've forgotten your password, you can reset it by going to https://www.wildthings.club/forgotten-password/

I'm locked out of my account

If you are locked out of your account due to too many failed email/password login attempts, you can contact us and we would be happy to help.

How do I log out of my account?

If you are using your phone or other small-screen device, and see the green menu along the bottom of your screen, you can find the logout link by:

  1. Pressing the three horizontal bars to open the menu...

  2. ... then press the Dashboard link (if you're not already within your Dashboard area)

  3. You'll find the Log out link at the bottom of the resulting Dashboard menu:

If you are on a computer, click the Account link in the navigation along the top of the page, and the the Log out link in the menu that appears.

Account & Profile

How do I change my email address or name in Wild Things?

Head to the Profile Details page of your Dashboard (here), where you can update your name, email and telephone.

Note: your email address is used to log in, so if you change it, the next time you log in, you'll need to use the new email address.

Why do you need my date of birth?

We don't. It's not mandatory. However, we do give our VIP Members an extra 10% off in our shop on their birthday 🥳 (but can only do this if we know your date of birth...)

How do I change my date of birth in my account?

For security purposes, please contact us and we can do this for you.

Who can see my Public Profile?

If you set your account visibility to Visible, you allow other VIP Members to find and communicate with you through Wild Things. They will be able to see your profile page. Similarly, you'll be able to find them.

Your email address, telephone number or date of birth will not be shown on your profile page.

Furthermore, your profile will not be seen by anyone who is not a VIP Member.

How do I change my Public Profile, visibility or experience level?

Head to the Profile Details page of your Dashboard (here), and scroll down the page to where you can update your Public Profile info.

We may automatically upgrade your experience level as you explore more - if we do this, we'll let you know via email. If you need to downgrade your experience level, please contact us and we can do this for you.


Free Trials

Why do you need my card details for a free trial?

To keep you and our community safe. As VIPs can see and contact our community, we need to validate you are a real person.

You're free to cancel at any time during your free trial and, if you do, you won't be charged at all.

Who is eligible for a free trial?

Anyone! As long as you haven't had a free trial beforehand, you can enjoy a two-week trial.

What if I forget my trial is ending?

When signing up, you'll see the timeline of your trial including the end date. We'll also email you on day 12, two days before your trial ends to remind you. Your account page will also show you when your trial will end and your membership charged.

How do I cancel during my free trial?

You're free to cancel at any time during your free trial and, if you do, you won't be charged at all. Please read this article to learn how to cancel your trial.


Membership

Is VIP Membership a subscription?

Yes, your VIP Membership will automatically renew each year unless you cancel beforehand. Your account page shows you when your membership will next be renewed.

Can I get a refund on VIP Membership?

As soon as a free trial ends or a VIP Membership rolls over, a member gets full access to the site, including being able to see all VIP rewards so we cannot offer refunds on membership unfortunately. This ensures we look after all of the epic partners who give back to our community and our epic members who support Wild Things.

Can I get a weekly, or monthly membership?

Not at this stage sorry. It is something we are exploring but as a VIP Membership provides access to shop discounts and VIP rewards, offering a shorter option is tricky.

How much is VIP Membership?

VIP membership is free for the first two weeks of a free trial, and then $62.50 (NZD) for a whole year.

How can I cancel my membership?

If you have a VIP membership, please check out this help article.

If you have a free account, there is nothing to cancel, as you will not be billed for your membership.

If you wish to unsubscribe from our emails, look for the Unsubscribe option at the bottom of any of our emails. Please note, you may still receive transactional emails related to your account, such as order confirmations, password resets etc.

If you wish to delete your account entirely, please contact us via email.


Wild Things Dollars

What are Wild Things Dollars?

The simplest definition is Shop Credit. You can use your Wild Things dollars to purchase anything from our shop. 1 Wild Things Dollar = $1 shop credit.

How do I earn Wild Things Dollars?

There are a few ways:

  • Submit a new trail to our directory, here.

  • Refer a friend to VIP Membership - grab your referral link here.

  • We also offer Wild Things Dollars as an option if you return a shop purchase.

  • We sometimes give them away through competitions and as a thanks for helping us out with surveys etc.

Where can I see my balance?

Head to the Earn page within your Dashboard, here. We'll also send you an email with your current balance whenever you earn any.

Do Wild Things Dollars expire?

If you are a VIP, no.

If you are not a VIP member, they will expire if you do not log in for over one year. We'll email you beforehand if you're getting close.
