When you search for a specific region or county in the Trail Directory, you may also see trails from other regions. This is because of our Neighbouring Regions function.

This is to ensure you don't miss a trail just over the regional boundary.

You can turn this option on or off in the filters menu:

If you find there are too many results with this option turned on, but you still don't want to miss trails over a boundary, consider using the Distance from... filter instead of regional selections, or switch to the Map View.
